Cheekybook loves Paris. No matter what anyone says it IS beautiful, the food is FANTASTIC and the inhabitants ARE chicer than all other European cities.

From Londres, you can leave late on Friday in time for dinner and be home by Sunday evening chicer and more inspired than when you left.

Alors:

Romantic Dinner: La Maison Blanche, Avenue de Montaigne. Followed by a digestif at Le Bar du Plaza Athénéé 50 yards away

Stroll: Pick up a morning cafe au lait around the  Place Des Vosges in the Marais and stroll to Place Vendôme picking up a Raspberry sorbet from Berthillon on the way

Brunch: Cafe Marly, opposite la Pyramide du Louvre

Shop: Printemps, Colette & Masion Kitsuné. Enjoy the window variety with a walk down  Faubourg St-Honoré

Drinks and Late Dinner: Hotel Costes, Rue Saint-Honoré

See: Before you leave pop into the  Musée De l’Orangerie – you don’t have time for crowds at the Louvre but Monet’s Waterlillies will more than suffice.
